Golf Course Policies

 

Dress Code:  Appropriate attire is required by Butter Brook Golf Club.  T-Shirts, non-collared shirts, tank tops, jeans, cut-off dungarees nor athletic shorts are not permitted on the course.

Spikeless Golf Shoes are required.  Neither boots nor metal spikes are permitted on the course.  Tennis style shoes are permitted.

Alcoholic Beverages:  No outside alcohol is allowed on the course. All alcohol must be purchased at the club house. 

Golf Carts:  The driver must possess a valid driver's license.   Carts must obey rules set forth by Butter Brook Golf Club.  Carts must be kept on the cart path and must follow signs. A 90 degree rule is in effect. Drivers  are responsible for damage done to carts caused by themselves or their guests.  Only two riders and bags per cart and only two carts allowed per foursome. Coolers are strictly prohibited. Handicap flags are available upon request with a valid handicap placard.

Pull carts:  Must be kept 10 yards away from the greens.

Rain Check Policy:    A raincheck will be issued for each hole that has not been played.   Rainchecks will only be issued when the course is deemed unplayable.
Golf Clubs:  Each player is required to have their own set of clubs.  Rentals are available.

Tee-Time Policy:  Butter Brook is a public facility.  Reservations made 7 days in advance by either calling the Pro Shop at 978-692-6560 or booking directly online.  Butter Brook asks that you check in 15 minutes prior to your tee time.  This will give you the opportunity to ready your equipment, check-in and walk down to the first tee and be ready for your scheduled time. All golfers must register at the Pro Shop before commencing play.  Please remember  Butter Brook has a 24 hour cancellation policy.

TEE TIME CANCELLATIONS MUST BE DONE BY TELEPHONE. EMAIL NOT EXCEPTED 

USGA Rules governs play, except as posted.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding rules and the interpretation please contact  one of our golf professionals. Proper care of the golf course is extremely important and we ask for your cooperation in maintaining the course.  Please repair all divots and ball marks.  This will make play more enjoyable for everyone.
